Assessment of the damage
The damage is assessed for size, position, paint type and substrate. This determines which repair method is appropriate: PDR, spot repair, panel repair or a complete respray.

Quotation and scheduling
Owners receive a fixed starting price or a quotation on request, including lead time and the warranty term that applies to this repair.

Preparation of the panel
Disassembly where needed, degreasing, dent removal, filling and sanding to a smooth substrate. Adjacent parts are masked and protected.

Colour matching and paintwork
The colour is measured on the car and first sprayed onto a test panel. Base coat and clear coat are applied to the panel in the spray booth, blended into adjacent parts where needed.

Finish and final inspection
Polishing to a hologram-free finish and inspection under controlled lighting. Only after approval does the car return to its owner.

Warranty
The warranty is split. On the repair carried out, GT Exclusive provides a 2-year repair and paint warranty: adhesion, colour stability and finish of the repaired part. A longer term of up to 4 years exists only via an accredited damage-repair programme and is communicated exclusively when the executing party and the repair genuinely fall under it*. Any material warranty on the paint system used rests with the manufacturer and is separate from the GT repair warranty.

Can exclusive colours and composite parts be repaired?
Yes, but always after prior assessment. Three-stage colours, matte paints and carbon or composite parts from Ferrari or Aston Martin, for example, require a specific paint build-up and sometimes a different repair zone. The appropriate method is set out in the quotation before work begins.
Will the repair be visible later at resale or valuation?
When correctly carried out, the difference from the factory finish is not visible, not even under LED lighting or with a paint depth gauge on a local spot repair. The repair is documented, so owners can demonstrate at resale what was done and under which warranty.
