In short

Paint Protection Film (PPF) is a transparent polyurethane film of around 200 microns fitted over the paintwork to absorb stone chips, scratches, insects and bird droppings before they reach the paint. The top layer is self-healing: light scratches disappear with heat. GT Exclusive fits high-quality PPF systems in Nunspeet in six packages. PPF Impact Protection for door cups and sills starts from € 149, PPF Front Bumper from € 749, PPF Full Front from € 1,995 incl. VAT, PPF Track Package from € 2,795, PPF Full Body from € 4,995 and Matte / Satin Full Body PPF from € 5,995. Suitable systems carry up to 10 years material warranty, plus a 2-year GT Exclusive Installation Warranty on the fitting. A Full Front takes 2 to 3 working days. PPF suits owners of Porsche, Ferrari, BMW M and Audi RS who drive daily or on track and want to preserve the original paintwork. The best moment is immediately after delivery, or after paint correction on an older car.

How we work

Controlled, from intake to delivery.

  1. 01

    Inspection and package selection

We assess the paintwork under controlled lighting and discuss use and parking situation. From this follows the package, from Impact Protection to Full Body.

  2. 02

    Decontamination and correction

Iron fallout, tar and wash marks are removed. Where needed, paint correction follows, because the film locks in the paint exactly as it is.

  3. 03

    Digital cutting to size

Every panel is cut using a digital pattern for the exact model and model year. No blade ever touches the paint.

  4. 04

    Fitting and edge finishing

The film is fitted wet, aligned and, wherever possible, wrapped around the panel edge. Seams coincide with panel gaps.

  5. 05

    Curing and registration

After 24 to 48 hours of curing, the final inspection follows. The material warranty is registered, the Installation Warranty confirmed in writing.

Why PPF

The only protection that actually stops stone chips

A ceramic coating makes the paint smooth and dirt-repellent, but it does not stop a stone at 120 km/h. Only PPF absorbs that impact. The film of around 200 microns takes the hit and heals light scratches by itself. That is why we recommend PPF on the zones that are struck hardest: bumper, bonnet, wings and mirrors. After spot repair on a repaired panel we fit new film, so the repair receives the same protection as the rest of the car.

The GT Exclusive Standard

Up to 10 years material, 2 years installation

The manufacturer guarantees the material, we guarantee the fitting. Both are listed separately in the quotation and on the warranty certificate. Edges, adhesion and finish are covered for 2 years under the GT Exclusive Installation Warranty. Invisible protection. Preserved perfection.

What is Paint Protection Film

Paint Protection Film is a transparent polyurethane film that is fitted over the paintwork and absorbs damage before it reaches the paint. The film is around 200 microns thick, roughly twice the thickness of the factory paint. Stone chips, scratches from bags or hedges, insects and bird droppings strike the film, not the paint. The self-healing top layer lets light scratches disappear as soon as the film warms up, in the sun or with warm water.

We fit only high-quality PPF systems with a clear top layer that does not yellow. Once fitted, the film is invisible. Only those who know where the edge sits will find it.

How PPF fitting works at GT Exclusive

The five steps above form the fixed route: inspection, preparation, digital cutting, fitting and curing. Two choices determine the result. First, the preparation: PPF locks in the paint exactly as it is, so swirls and delivery marks are removed first with paint correction. Second, the edge finishing: wherever the model allows, the film is wrapped around the panel edge so that no visible seam remains.

Who it is for

PPF is the answer for owners who drive their car. A Porsche 911 GT3 that laps Zandvoort, a Ferrari that crosses the Veluwe on a Saturday, a BMW M3 that sees the motorway every day. The same applies to Audi RS, Aston Martin and Bentley: the original factory paint cannot be replaced, and it is precisely that paint that determines the residual value.

The best moment is immediately after delivery, before the first stone chip lands. On an older car we combine PPF with paint correction, so the film locks in flawless paint.

What does PPF cost?

PPF Impact Protection for door cups, sills and loading edge starts from € 149 incl. VAT. PPF Front Bumper costs from € 749. PPF Full Front, with bumper, bonnet, front wings and mirror caps, is the most popular package from € 1,995. PPF Track Package from € 2,795 extends the Full Front with the zones that suffer most on track. PPF Full Body from € 4,995 covers the complete car. Matte / Satin Full Body PPF from € 5,995 gives gloss paint a satin appearance, or protects an original matte finish that cannot be polished.

All amounts are indicative consumer prices incl. VAT. The final price depends on the vehicle, its condition, material choice and the desired finish. The complete overview is at all starting prices.

Many owners combine a Full Front with ceramic coating over the rest of the car, and with alloy wheel repair plus ceramic wheel coating. That way the zones under the heaviest load are protected in a single project.

Warranty on PPF

The warranty consists of two separate parts. The material warranty comes from the manufacturer of the film system: up to 10 years on high-quality PPF systems against yellowing, cracking, bubbling and delamination*. This warranty applies with correct registration, maintenance according to the conditions and any periodic inspections.

The installation warranty comes from GT Exclusive: a 2-year GT Exclusive Installation Warranty on the fitting of suitable PPF systems. Lifting edges, inclusions or fitting errors are repaired free of charge. The full conditions are on the page about 10 years warranty on PPF.

*The manufacturer’s warranty always depends on the chosen film system, correct registration, maintenance conditions and any periodic inspections.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Final prices and warranty terms follow after inspection of the car.

What does PPF cost for a Porsche?

PPF Full Front for a Porsche 911 or Cayman starts from € 1,995 incl. VAT. The front bumper alone costs from € 749, PPF Full Body from € 4,995. A Track Package for circuit use begins at € 2,795. The final price depends on model, paint condition and the chosen film system and is set out in the quotation beforehand.

Is paint protection film visible on the paint?

No. High-quality PPF systems are optically indistinguishable from the paint once fitted. The film is clear, high-gloss and does not yellow. Edges are wrapped around the panel wherever possible or placed exactly on a panel gap. Only with a matte or satin film is the effect visible, and then that is the intention.

How long does paint protection film last?

High-quality PPF systems carry up to 10 years material warranty against yellowing, cracking and lifting. In practice the film protects the paint for that entire period, provided the car is washed and maintained normally. GT Exclusive additionally provides a 2-year Installation Warranty on the fitting.

What is the difference between PPF and ceramic coating?

PPF is a film of around 200 microns that physically absorbs stone chips and scratches. A ceramic coating is a glass layer a few microns thick that repels dirt and UV but does not stop stone chips. Those who want to protect the paint choose PPF, those who want easier maintenance choose coating. The combination does both.

Can PPF be removed without damaging the paint?

Yes. High-quality PPF systems are designed to be removed with heat, leaving no adhesive residue and no damage to the factory paint. The condition is that the paint is original or correctly resprayed and fully cured. After removal, the paint emerges in the condition in which it was covered.

How is a car with PPF maintained?

Hand wash with pH-neutral shampoo and two buckets, no brush car wash. Do not wash during the first week after fitting, so the film bonds fully. Light scratches disappear through the self-healing top layer with heat. A ceramic coating over the film simplifies maintenance further and limits limescale and staining.
