Detailing & Paint Correction is the first service group at GT Exclusive: perfecting paintwork, interior and presentation. From a Premium Exterior Detail from € 249 to a Concours Paint Correction from € 1,199, all incl. VAT. Every correction is carried out under controlled lighting and delivered hologram-free. The result: paintwork that reads deep and clear again, ready for a coating or PPF.

Detailing & Paint Correction at GT Exclusive in Nunspeet comprises six services that perfect the paintwork, interior and presentation of performance and luxury cars. The group consists of Premium Exterior Detail (from € 249), 1-Step Paint Correction (from € 499), 2-Step Paint Correction (from € 799), Multi-Step / Concours Paint Correction (from € 1,199), Premium Interior Detailing (from € 299) and Leather & Alcantara Treatment (from € 249), all prices incl. VAT. Paint correction removes swirls, wash marks and holograms by machine polishing the paintwork in one or more stages. A 1-Step removes around 60 to 70 percent of visible swirls, a 2-Step considerably more. Every correction is assessed under controlled lighting and delivered hologram-free. The group is intended for owners of Ferrari, Porsche, BMW M and Audi RS models, among others, who want to preserve the original paintwork rather than respray. Paint correction is also the essential preparation for a ceramic coating or PPF. Turnaround: one to five working days, depending on the chosen package.

No artificial long-term warranty on polishing: new swirls or wash marks are caused by use or incorrect washing methods. GT Exclusive therefore guarantees the quality of the correction at delivery under controlled lighting.

Intake and paint inspection
The paintwork is assessed under controlled lighting and the paint depth is measured panel by panel. That tells us in advance what the paint will allow.

Decontamination
Hand wash, iron removal and clay treatment remove all contamination before a polishing pad touches the paint. This prevents new scratches during the correction.
- 03
Correction or detailing
Depending on the chosen package, polishing follows in one or more stages, or a detailed cleaning of exterior and interior.

Final inspection
Every panel is assessed again under controlled lighting. Holograms are removed before the car leaves the workshop.

Delivery and advice
At delivery we discuss the result, the correct washing method and the options for a coating or PPF to preserve the result.

Why perfect before you protect
A coating or PPF locks in the paintwork exactly as it is at that moment. Swirls, wash marks and holograms are then preserved, visibly, for years. That is why every protection project at GT Exclusive starts with an inspection under controlled lighting and a paint depth measurement. Only once the paint reads defect-free does the protection follow. This sequence is the core of this service group and of our principle: Protect, Restore, Enhance, Upgrade. Anyone choosing a ceramic coating or PPF will therefore always find paint correction in the process.

Premium Interior Detailing
Deep cleaning of seats, carpet, headlining, plastics and glass with material-specific products. From € 299 incl. VAT, one to two working days.
Leather & Alcantara Treatment
Pore-deep cleaning and conditioning of leather, restoration of the matt texture of Alcantara. From € 249 incl. VAT, booked separately or in combination.

Hologram-free at delivery, assessed under controlled lighting
We do not offer an artificial long-term warranty on polishing. What we do guarantee is the quality of the correction at the moment of delivery: every panel assessed under controlled lighting, without holograms. For detailing, the GT Quality Inspection at delivery applies.
What is Detailing & Paint Correction?
Detailing & Paint Correction is the service group in which GT Exclusive perfects the paintwork, interior and presentation of a car. Detailing cleans and cares, right down to the seams. Paint correction removes swirls, wash marks and holograms by machine polishing the paintwork. Together they form the first step in our principle: Protect, Restore, Enhance, Upgrade.
What is not perfect, we do not protect. That is why this group comes before PPF and coating.
How does it work?
Every job starts with an inspection under controlled lighting and a paint depth measurement per panel. Decontamination, the chosen correction or detailing and a final inspection follow. The full process is described above.
The three polishing levels are set out on the paint correction page. Exterior and interior each have their own page with method, turnaround and starting price.
Who is it for?
This group is intended for owners of performance, luxury and collector cars. Think of a Porsche 911 with wash marks after three years of automatic car washes. A Ferrari that needs to be ready for sale. An Aston Martin with Alcantara that has gone shiny on the seat surfaces. Or a new BMW M or Audi RS that needs flawless paintwork before its coating.

What does detailing and paint correction cost?
The lowest starting price in this group is € 249 incl. VAT, for the Premium Exterior Detail and the Leather & Alcantara Treatment. Paint correction starts at € 499 for a 1-Step and runs to € 1,199 for a Concours correction. Interior detailing costs from € 299.
These are indicative consumer prices incl. VAT. The final price depends on the vehicle, its condition, material choice and the desired finish. An overview of all starting prices is on the pricing page.
Warranty
We do not offer an artificial long-term warranty on polishing. New swirls or wash marks are caused by use or an incorrect washing method, not by the correction. What we do guarantee: the quality of the correction at delivery, assessed under controlled lighting and hologram-free.
For detailing, the GT Quality Inspection at delivery applies. For the Leather & Alcantara Treatment, the warranty depends on product and treatment. How we formulate warranty per group is set out in The GT Exclusive Standard. Anyone who wants to preserve the result for longer chooses a ceramic coating or PPF afterwards.

What is the difference between detailing and paint correction?
Detailing cleans and cares: hand wash, decontamination, interior, sealing. Paint correction goes a step further and removes defects in the paint itself by machine polishing. Is paint correction necessary before a coating or PPF?
Yes. A coating or PPF preserves the paintwork in the state it is in at that moment, including swirls and scratches. That is why paint correction is the essential preparation. On a new car a 1-Step is often sufficient; on a used car we recommend a 1-Step or 2-Step after inspection.
How long does detailing or paint correction take?
A Premium Exterior Detail or Premium Interior Detailing takes one to two working days. A 1-Step Paint Correction takes one working day, a 2-Step two working days and a Concours correction three to five working days. The exact schedule follows the inspection and is confirmed in advance.
Does GT Exclusive offer a warranty on polishing?
We guarantee the quality of the correction at delivery: hologram-free and assessed under controlled lighting. We deliberately do not offer a long-term warranty on polishing, because new swirls are caused by use and washing method. Anyone who wants to preserve the result chooses a ceramic coating with up to 5 years manufacturer's warranty according to system and maintenance.
Where is the detailing carried out?
In our workshop at Gunningweg 5-01 in Nunspeet, on the Veluwe. Owners come from Gelderland, Overijssel, Flevoland and Utrecht, and for larger corrections from further afield, including Germany and Belgium.
