Evidence, invisibly wired.
An installed dashcam records the traffic around the car and watches over it in the car park, without a single cable in sight. GT Exclusive installs a Premium Front Dashcam from € 499 incl. VAT and a Front & Rear Dashcam from € 699. Hardwired to the on-board network, with parking mode and battery protection, hidden behind the rear-view mirror. Manufacturer's product warranty plus 2-year GT Exclusive installation warranty.
In short
Dashcam installation at GT Exclusive means the camera is permanently connected to the on-board network, hardwired, without a loose cable to the 12V socket. The camera sits behind the rear-view mirror and is barely noticeable from the driver's seat. A Premium Front Dashcam costs from € 499 incl. VAT and films the road ahead. A Front & Rear Dashcam costs from € 699 and adds a rear camera, concealed in the rear window surround. Both versions feature parking mode: the camera starts recording on impact or movement while the car is stationary, with voltage monitoring that protects the battery. Installation is usually completed within 1 working day. The camera carries the manufacturer's product warranty, the installation a 2-year GT Exclusive installation warranty. A dashcam makes sense for owners of Porsche, Ferrari, BMW M, Audi RS, Aston Martin and Bentley who want evidence in the event of a collision or parking damage, and who want the interior left untouched.

How we work
Discussion of use: driving only or parking mode too, front only or front and rear. Advice on resolution, storage and position per model.
The camera goes behind the rear-view mirror, outside the field of view. The cable route is set along the headlining and the A-pillar, with attention to the airbags.
Trim and pillar panels are removed with plastic tools. For a rear camera the cable runs via the headlining to the rear window.
Connection to the fuse box with constant and switched power. Setting of parking mode, voltage cut-off and recording quality.
Check of image, storage and panels. Explanation of the app or viewer and registration of the product warranty.
Parking mode
Versions
A single camera behind the rear-view mirror films the road ahead in high resolution. Hardwired with parking mode. From € 499 incl. VAT.
Front and rear cameras record both directions, including a rear-end collision from behind. The rear camera is concealed in the window surround. From € 699 incl. VAT.
While the car is in the studio, Paint Protection Film or a ceramic coating can be applied in the same appointment. One schedule, one delivery.
The GT Exclusive Standard
The camera manufacturer is responsible for the product, according to its own conditions. GT Exclusive is responsible for the installation for 2 years: wiring, power supply, mounting and the finishing of the panels. Two warranties, stated separately, so it is clear in advance who handles what.
An installed dashcam is a camera permanently connected to the car’s on-board network that records the traffic around the vehicle. The difference from a loose dashcam lies in the installation. No cable to the 12V socket, no suction cup on the windscreen, no camera that has to come off after every drive. The camera sits behind the rear-view mirror and starts automatically with the car. With parking mode the camera also remains active while the car is stationary.
The installation begins with the position: behind the rear-view mirror, so the field of view stays clear and the camera is barely noticeable from inside. The cable runs behind the headlining and the A-pillar to the fuse box, with attention to the curtain airbag. There a hardwire kit is connected to a constant and a switched power supply. With a Front & Rear Dashcam a second cable runs via the headlining to the rear window. The full method is set out in the step-by-step plan above.
A dashcam makes sense for any owner who wants evidence in the event of a collision or parking damage. With a Porsche 911, Ferrari Roma or BMW M4 the cost of damage is high and the discussion with the other party is quickly settled when there is footage. Collectors often opt for the combination with GPS tracking, so the car is both filmed and located. Business drivers often combine the dashcam with Target Blu Eye, as both share the same cable route.
A Premium Front Dashcam costs from € 499 incl. VAT, including camera, hardwire kit and installation. A Front & Rear Dashcam with rear camera costs from € 699 incl. VAT. These are indicative consumer prices. The final price depends on the vehicle, its condition, material choice and the desired finish. See all starting prices for a complete overview, including the services that can be added in the same appointment, such as Paint Protection Film.
An installed dashcam carries two separate warranties. The manufacturer provides the product warranty on the camera and the memory card, according to its own conditions. GT Exclusive provides a 2-year installation warranty on the installation: power supply, wiring, mounting and the refitting of all panels. In the event of a fault we first establish where the cause lies and then arrange the handling. More on how the two warranties are structured can be found on the page about The GT Exclusive Standard.

FAQ
Final prices and warranty terms follow after inspection of the car.
A Premium Front Dashcam including hardwired installation costs from € 499 incl. VAT. A Front & Rear Dashcam with rear camera costs from € 699. These are indicative consumer prices; the final price depends on the model, the cable route and the chosen camera.
No, provided it is installed correctly. The hardwire kit has voltage monitoring that switches the camera off as soon as the battery voltage drops below a set threshold. We set that threshold to the vehicle. For cars that stand still for long periods we also advise a trickle charger, as with any exclusive car.
Barely. The camera sits behind the rear-view mirror, in the zone already covered by the mirror when seen from the driver's seat. The wiring runs behind the headlining and the A-pillar. From outside only a small lens is visible, from inside no cable at all.
Two warranties. The manufacturer provides the product warranty on the camera, according to its conditions. GT Exclusive provides a 2-year installation warranty on the installation: power supply, wiring, mounting and the refitting of the panels. In the event of a fault we first establish the cause and arrange the appropriate handling.
Yes, using a dashcam is permitted in the Netherlands. Footage may be submitted as evidence to an insurer or the police. Sharing or publishing footage in which people or number plates are recognisable falls under Dutch privacy law and calls for restraint.
